Nanduni Nimalsiri is currently a research fellow with the School of Engineering at the Australian National University. She earned Honours Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering in 2017 from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
Her research interests lie in the areas of optimisation and control, and machine learning in applications of power systems including, but not limited to, demand-side management, electric vehicles, distributed energy storage, power distribution networks, and renewable energy systems in smart grids.
Nanduni is looking for Bachelor's/Master's students who have research interests in areas specified above to support through the upcoming ANU PhD scholarship rounds. Both domestic and international rounds will be conisdered. Interested applicants should hold a first class Honours in Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related discipline with sufficient research component.
